STAGE POST-DOCTORAL
A postdoctoral fellow position is available under the supervision of Dr. Junling Wang within the Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Translational Science of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center to contribute in conducting health services research related to Medicare Parts C/D Star Ratings, medication therapy management services, economic efficiency, racial and ethnic disparities, other topics.
The postdoc fellow will participate in several research projects currently funded by the National Institutes of Health and other sources under the supervision of Junling Wang, PhD. This individual will also have the responsibility of carrying out independent research related to these projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD in Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology or a closely related field
- At least two-year experience in research, at least one publication
- Familiarity with the U.S. health care system
- Familiarity with data management and data analysis software such as SAS and Stata
- Strong communication and excellent writing skills.
This position is available immediately but the start date is negotiable.
Salary is commensurate with experience and is competitive for postdoctoral research fellows.

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, open-rank faculty position in Health Outcomes and Policy located in Memphis. Our faculty members are engaged in competitive research and the education, training of professional and graduate students, fellows, and post-doctoral trainees, and service. Our campus-wide, inter-professional Ph.D. program in Health Outcomes and Policy Research involves faculty members in multiple colleges.
Applications will be accepted from individuals with expertise in pharmacy administration, epidemiology, health care policy, health economics as well as other related fields. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology or an equivalent degree. Candidates with a professional doctoral degree (e.g., PharmD, DNP, MD) with postgraduate training and a research track record in a closely related area will also be considered. Candidates should have an existing federally funded research program.
